Mankind has broken the natural evolution process. The survival of the strong, the doom of the weak, natural selection; all of it was dodged by technology, medicine, luxury, comfort... Our evolution is different, ruled by the same rule though: the weak die, the strong survive... but it is our human system the one that decides who is weak and who is strong... Genetic improvement is no longer the reason for it all: every day, our bodies become weaker, our minds become simpler and our brains more and more stupid. PC's, mobile phones, Television, calculators, escalators, instant and fast food, drugs, fashion, standards, capitalism, socialism... it was all made with only one final goal: Turn us into "the rule" and avoid every single opportunity of a "exception" to occur. To make us weak, to kill us, to distract us, to make us kill ourselves, to makes us fight each other... everything is accepted in order to make us part of this system that govern us... this system that subsist nourishing from our own EXISTENCE. We are no longer singular, special beings. We are a part of an entire, complex system of vacuity: We no longer have space for our dreams, we fall where we are told to fall, we think what is told to us to think, we buy what we are told to need; we live in a world of subjugation and chains... Some people don’t know it, some people suspect about it, and most of time “And many of them are so inert, so hopelessly dependant on the system, that they will fight to protect it” (Morpheus, The Matrix) but the fact is that, in some way, WE ALL TOTALLY ACCEPT IT.
Our brains are slowly converted in a tool to accomplish standards, everything that is fed to it is already “chewed and digested” and directed to make us follow rules. We stop creating, imagining… we cease living our own processes of evolution and we start to work as a piece of an static system in which the limit of reason is the settled standards (think like this, act like that, eat this, wear that, look like them…).
Now, in this “human evolution process” who are the “strong”? Who are the weak? And who is the "exception"? Who survive in the end? The first question is easily answered, the “strong” are those that adapt to the system (this adaption coincide and somehow depends on the amount of the resource called “money”). I add quotation marks because to adapt to a system that gives you everything easy, tasty, comfortable and simple, requires no visible strength (to fly you need to fight gravity. To fall, just to follow it.). The weak are those who do not have access to that resource I mentioned; those who die on the streets, starve to death, are segregated, eliminated and vanished. (At this point I remembered (I don’t know why) a phrase that I used in a speech a time ago: Meeting to solve world Hunger problems. Date: xxxx Hour: xxxx Place: downtown McDonalds)
Anyways, who are the “exceptions”? All of those, that see beyond that veil that system places in front of us. All of those who definitely know that something is wrong and DO NOT stop there, they act. The exceptions are all of those people, who fight, in any way, at any level, against oppression and injustice.
Who will, finally, survive? Tendencies show that the system and the strong will continue to exist over everything. But is the duty of all the exceptions to open the eyes (I repeat in any way, at any level) of the rest of people. Let them know that their lives are being wasted, that their lives lack of meaning and most important let them know that there are weak out there that need all of our help…
